Rooted in history
Dickinson has always been a place of opportunity and optimism. In the 1880s, it held the promise of new life for pioneer families. That spirit has endured through good times and difficult times — the belief that life is what you make of it.
And it continues to be renewed by the hearty individuals who live here at Evergreen.
Serving our families today
On the edge of beautiful badlands in western North Dakota, Dickinson is just 40 miles from untamed Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Evergreen is conveniently located in a quiet residential neighborhood in this small, close-knit city. A shopping mall, medical services, several churches, banks and restaurants are nearby.
In addition, specialized memory care is available right next door at our sister community, CountryHouse Residence.
Visitors enter to a welcoming space, a cozy fireplace lounge where families feel at home. Beyond is a sunny living room, used for chapel and other large events. Many birthdays, anniversaries and memorial tributes have been celebrated here.
Our family room is a relaxing area, the perfect spot for games or to curl up with a book and a special young friend.
New families are treated to a welcome dinner, when they’re invited to join our unique Heart to Heart program. Family Traditions events are planned throughout the year, including the popular annual Count Down to Noon Year party. Educational programs are regularly offered on healthy aging, financial planning and other relevant topics.
These and other family services provide fellowship and support, as well as special occasions for loved ones to enjoy good times together.
Making memories for tomorrow
Residents stay active and engaged through a broad array of activities, ranging from karaoke to crafts. Trips are scheduled for shopping and sightseeing — even boating and bowling. No one has more fun than the folks at Evergreen.
Transportation is available seven days a week to enable residents to continue to enjoy the activites that remain important to them, such as attending church or club meetings.
The resource center encourages learning and growth through classes and visiting school children. Evergreen’s ground-breaking partnership with North Dakota State College set the standard for all intergenerational programs to follow.
Personalized programs, family events, and staff devoted to making each day special… together these factors make life at Evergreen an experience to remember.
