Leadership at The Kensington

Rachel Benda-websiteRachel Benda has served as Director of The Kensington since 2008. You might say she was born to be there, since she was actually born in the building back when it was a hospital.

Rachel is an enthusiastic supporter of Fort Madison, volunteering any way she can to help it grow and prosper. Rachel serves on the RSVP Board and Tourism Commission, and she’s an active member of Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, Community Health Partners, and PEO. She holds a Business Administration degree from Culver-Stockton College, and is passionate about offering a quality life experience for The Kensington’s residents, staff and families.

“I love what I do because we can give back to those who have given to us in so many ways. My job is to make sure that our residents love living here and our staff love working here. I learn something new every day and work with some amazing people. We get to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone we touch!” Rachel also stays busy with her family and friends, and enjoys exercising and being outdoors.
