Aim for a Cure Archery Tournament on March 1 in Hastings will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association

Archery and bowhunting enthusiasts and supporters of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease are invited to participate in a one-of-a-kind fundraiser that benefits The Alzheimer’s Association. The Aim for a Cure Archery Tournament will be held on March 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m – 4:00 p.m. at Archery Solutions, 9391 Osborne Drive West in Hastings, NE.

The tournament is presented by Cottonwood Archery Club, The Alzheimer’s Association of Nebraska, with promotional support from The Kensington Senior Living and Memory Care.

The format is a continuous shooting line, with separate categories by age, and divisions including bowhunter, freestyle, rangefinder, traditional, and more.

Entry fees are $20 for adults, $12 for youth under age 14, and $45 for a family of four. Half of all proceeds go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission to find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Food will be available for purchase, with 100% of proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association. Participants can register online using this form or can register in person the day of the event.

This fundraiser is part of the Alzheimer’s Association’s new “Do What You Love to End ALZ” program and is spearheaded by Marty Hug, Executive Chairman of Agemark Senior Living, Archery Enthusiast, and supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Hug says, “I’m energized by the Alzheimer’s Association’s new ‘Do What You Love’ program, and excited to leverage a passion and hobby of mine to support another one of my passions – the Alzheimer’s Association. I hope that all local archery and bowhunting enthusiasts will come out to join the fun and help us raise money to find a cure on March 1.”
