Community Leadership
Each member of our team has been carefully selected. We first seek out individuals that embrace our core values: professionalism, integrity, commitment and compassion. Additionally, empathy, great communication and willingness to go the extra mile are key attributes for anyone tasked with serving the residents of one of our communities.
Kim Hawke
Executive Director
Kim has dedicated over 20 years to Human Services, building a diverse and meaningful career. She started with 10 years of self-employment in early childhood services, followed by five years at Goodwill Industries, where she worked in behavioral health and contributed to the Drug Court Board. For the past six years, she’s focused on senior living and Assisted Living Facility (ALF) administration at Good Samaritan Society in Grand Island.
Kim’s true passion is serving others, and she discovered her calling in senior living. She loves connecting with residents and families, building relationships that make a real difference. Her wealth of experience, combined with her work alongside incredible partners, led her to see that Agemark’s culture and commitment to excellence truly stand out.
Now, as Executive Director at The Kensington, Kim feels honored to be part of such a special community. She says it’s the residents and staff who make it all so rewarding, with the culture and opportunities making it even better. Kim fondly remembers her early days as ED, when residents welcomed her with open arms and good humor, joking about how they were keeping track of her “days on the job.” Those moments remind her how lucky she is to be part of this incredible journey.
